This much we know!
Treasure hunt is in the captain's quarters onboard the Migrator
Treasure Hunt is an unusual game on Club Penguin because you are not competing against another penguin, you are playing with another penguin, each helping the other!
It's a good game because everyone wins!
If you are playing against someone who doesn't know how to play or is deliberatly trying not to uncover the rest of partial exposed rubies, it can be very frustrating.
Both players need to be trying hard to win or it can cause keyboard rage!
Treasure Hunt is quite good for earning money, it's fun, it doesn't take long and you can average about 62 coins for about a minute's work.
If you uncover the emerald you earn 100 bonus coins!
Because rubies and emeralds are 2 squares wide and 2 squares high, it makes sense to experiment by leaving 1 square gaps between rows in the hope of uncovering part of a gem, then if you uncover a gem obviously it makes sense to uncover the rest of it.
There are little sparkles, gleaming in the sand and they give you clues where to look, but I haven't managed to work out if they sparkle any differently for coins or gems.
My maximum score has been 160 coins.
