Catch as many fish as you can. You can only catch a maximum of about 64 fish so make sure that most of the fish you catch are grey fish because the grey fish are worth twice as many points as the yellow fish on Club Penguin.
Once you have scored about 60 fish, in the closing seconds of the game, you will see a shadow of a fish, this is the Club Penguin mullet. It appears 4 times swimming across the screen, getting bigger and more colourful each time it swims across. Make sure you keep a fish on your line in these closing seconds, wait until the mullet appears for the fouth time, it is orange in colour, really close and massive then use the fish which is on the end of your line to catch the mullet, make sure the fish goes in the mullet's mouth and you will crack the ice and gain an extra 100 extra coins on Club Penguin. You can expect to make about 500 coins in this game.
No it's impossible! You can not catch the Club Penguin mullet with a gray fish because after about 55 fish have been caught no further grey fish appear.
To get maximum points concentrate on catching the grey fish.
The mullet is worth 100 extra coins so you must make catching it your priority if you want to make more coins on Club Penguin.
Playing Ice Fishing carefully and catching the mullet earns you about 350 coins but using the flashing lure fishing rod and catching lots of gray fish would enable you to earn about 500 coins!
