I've bought and tested every piece of furniture in the Club Penguin furniture catalog April May 2008 and these are the furniture secrets I have found:

In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog April May 2008, on page 1 and 2 there are lots of new plants. I haven't bought them all yet, I bought the flower planter expecting that one to change to different flowers but am disappointed to report that it doesn't change at all.
In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog April May 2008, on page 3, there is a gnome- but he doesn't change. On page 4 there is a vegetable garden which is excellent value for money because for 200 coins you can change it from a bare patch of soil, to a row of carrots, to two different types of corn, to 2 different arrangements of pumkins, to marrows, to tomatoes! That has got to be the best value piece of furniture for a long time!!
In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog April May 2008, on page 5 there is a watering can. When you place the watering can in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from an empty watering can to a watering can with a flower in it.

When you place the bookcase in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from book shelves full of books, to a bookcase full of different books, or to empty book shelves, or to a bookcase with only 2 shelves with ornaments on.
In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog April May 2008, on page 9 and 10 in the aquatic accents section there is a clam shell, when you put it in your igloo it will open up and let out bubbles of air intermittently.
In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog April May 2008, on page 11 & 12 on the kitchen furniture pages, there are loads of items of furniture which have secrets! When you place the stove in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from an empty stove, to a stove with a pan on the hob, to a stove with a cute kettle boiling on the hob, to a stove with an open oven with a pizza cooking inside. That cooker is a great piece of furniture, especially if you've got friends coming round to your igloo for a snack.
When you place the sink in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from an empty sink, to a sink with a load of soapy water in.
When you place the fridge in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from a closed fridge, to an open fridge with a big fish and lots of food on the shelves inside.

When you place the coat rack in your igloo and you click your cursor on, it if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from a coat rack with a red Viking helmet on it, to a coat rack full of coats, to a coat rack with only one coat on, or to an empty coat rack.

There is an electric fan and a lamp. When you place the electric fan in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can switch it on and off! It looks great spinning round.
Not many people realise you can switch the fan on, I've hardly seen anyone with one switched on in their igloo!

When you place the dining table in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from an empty dining table, to a dining table with 6 empty plates on, to a dining table with an enormous mullet on.
In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog March April 2008, on the electronics pages there are 2 televisions and a jukebox. When you place the tv in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change the channels. The LCD tv has 6 different channels including 2 sports channels and a log fire effect picture! The log fire effect can look really fab, especially if you have several on the walls in a hallowe'en pumpkin igloo.
When you place the jukebox in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from being switched off, to being switched on, with the lights flashing.
there is a drum kit! When you place the drum kit in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from having a plain white drum at the front of the kit, to a drum with a picture of a red puffle on the front drum, to a pirate themed front drum with a picture of a white puffle against a black background.
In the Club Penguin Better Igloos furniture catalog March April 2008, pages 17 and 18 have plenty of furniture and accessories with secrets!. When you place the candlestick in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change the candlestick from being alight to being unlit and you can also change the length of the candle, from short to tall.
When you place the shoe rack in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from being an empty shoe rack, to being a full shoe rack, to being a shoe rack with just 2 pairs of shoes on.
When you place the banner in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from a happy birthday banner, to a hurray banner to a party banner.
When you place the cake in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from a plain cake, to a cake with one candle on, to a cake with lots of candles on.
On page 22 when you place the pantry in your igloo and you click your cursor on it, if you use the up and down arrow keys you can change it from a closed pantry, to an open pantry with empty shelves, to a open pantry with three full shelves.
